dear friends,

is there anybody working for cognizant? got offer there, but bit nervesed regarding joining and taking care of my kid, for that i am enquiring in amelio-early learning centre..

anybody working in cognizant? pls give some idea, how you people balance both work and home and kids

anybody sending kids to amelio centres or any other daycare centres? pls give your suggestions .. it will be very useful to step-in into chennai life

i hav no help and i cant ask, if i ask then i need to leave my kid in hometown with either inlaws or parents. but i want to keep my kid with me. so please guide me friends. my kid is 2year 3 month old.

is it possible for a working mother who is in IT, can manage both work and home and toddler.? what need to be done for balanced life.

Hi,

I have friends working for cognizant...It is a very good company.

It is possibel to handle Job/Kid/Home. But Don't try to do everything by yourself. If you can afford help get it for household help which will lessen the burden on you.

Important step would be to find a Day care. You child is old enough to enjoy the environment in daycare which will provide other children's company and other activties to him.

I have no idea of daycares in Chennai ..may be others here can help.

A good day care will give you peace and you will be able to enjoy the job and kid too.

I will try my level best for getting lady for doing household activities.
ya, i need to live well infront of all my relatives who doing very bad things for me and my kid. i have no help from anybody, if i get help from my parents, then my dh interferes and doing mess. he dont want my parents to help in taking care of my kid. he want me to hate my parents. his parents also not supportive, they are doing n number of negative things for me. dont know . just believing in god what else i can do.

hi priya,

I dint put my kid there in amelio since my working location is changed , i put him in other daycare which is inside my current office campus , inside DLF, YKROK daycare is there, he is going from last september till today.

Hi its good only. in bangalore its there around 6 years, and so had some trust and put my son in that..
Now it is fine and they go to start near tidel they are planning, as of now it is inside DLF for the employees..
getting admission for babies is somewhat difficult it seems now a days, we need to inform them month before.
other than that its ok.
