    Hi friends,
Iam looking for free downloadable attractive games for kids.
I see a lot in the internet. I need reviews from people who have already used it.

Could you please suggest me a few?

    thanks in advance,

Try Khoya from app store. It was developed by someone I know. It's awesome. She even gave a TED talk on the subject.

joel i am of the old school. an half an hour or one of games on pc, with absolutely no violence. i firmly believe, though it is a game it definitely plays with their mind.

my kids are grown up. when they were kids, it was word search, maths fun, building a city- pharaoh, roller coaster and the likes. where they needed to use their mind reasoning and logical thinking . now they don't play any games..sometimes sudoku or jewels.

interactive maps, maths fun, word fun is what i would look at..and you can find them in
Tucows Downloads - Freeware and shareware downloads they have evolved in the last 14 years but are still strong.
you can also check out jumpstart series..i would recommend them.loads of fun..
knowledge adventure is another site along with learning is fun.
most of them are grade, subject wise games too ..interesting.. making gaming an edutainment time..you can keep track too.

i used to subscribe to some of these sites. and the weekly projects i used to print it out so that they could learn to do it by themselves and not sit on the pc too long.

recently when i shifted i shared the whole box of those papers to friends who had kids in the age group...

Thank you so much for that detailed response! It gives me lot of info
yes Iam also in search of memory and math games...I know about jump start....but is it free? They allow you to take it free only for 15 days or so right? That's what my understanding is...correct me if Iam wrong
