    Ladies,

    My husband and I have shortlisted a few names for our baby boy who we are expecting this Sep. Would you please help me by ranking these names in the order of your liking. Thank you.

    Here is the list: Aryan, Shashank, Vaibhav, Rishi, Roshan, Arya, Nikhil, Rishabh, Prahlad and Rohan.

    my colleagues dont pronounce my name correctly and i feel bad, aaarrrcccchana. so i go by Ana.
    so when i named my daughter, i made my colleagues (1 black and 1 white) pronounce her name.
    I liked Ananya then but they pronounced it so badly that i dropped that idea :) and choose another name :)
    overall kids should feel comfortable tommorow in school if you plan to be in US for few more years :)

    Ya, I understand what you mean..one reason why I am thinking Aryan wouldn't be a good choice in US..I so love that name and just cant think of associating another name with my boy, but I am scared that this name would remind folks here of the Aryans group..and I dont want my baby to be ridiculed each time he has his history class..u know wat I mean.. :biglaugh

    1.Shashank

    2.Prahalad(What a name,given an opportunity I will pick this one)

    3.vaibhav

    Note:Iam going to name my son as per my preference.having gone through all TTC struggle,Iam going to see him after 5 yrs.So it is our wish.

    I like Rishi and Roshan.I think we should pick names that everyone can pronounce with ease.I would not want anyone to murder the name and find it difficult to call the kid.They cannot pronounce words with "Bh'' "th",so its better to avoid them.

    Coming to names my choices would be
    Aryan
    Rohan.
    Hint - make sure the first name matches well with the last name. Also, all names sound cute when they are kids what matters is how it would sound when they are adults having a great or powerful carrier.
