    hi,
Bangalore is one of the nice place to live. mostly u can see the residence in the areas like Electronic City, Silk board, Marathalli, Indira Nagar, BTM layout
IT peoples mostly live in these areas at the same time houses are good in the area and the atmosphere too.

you can see the school were u r going to reside. most of the schools have that IBSC and ICSE. and the education also will b good.

Re: Moving to Blore july 2011 electronic city!

We moved to Bangalore this year from USA. Our kids were born in USA and went to schools there.

After doing a lot of research about schools, education, living conditions etc, we picked Bangalore as our destination in India (even though it is not our native place). The school we chose is a new school: St Patrick's Academy, Bangalore. This was started last year. This is definitely not an international school and if you are looking for extra comfort for the kids, this is not the place.

The management is Patrician Brothers. They have lot of fund and not greedy for money. They do not run the school for profit. They run some of the best schools in the country (like St Michaels Academy, Chennai).

Our kids had some adjustment problems in the beginning, especially for Hindi. In less than 2 months, they started loving the school.

Of course, there are better schools in the city, but we chose this school for the value based education, discipline, infrastructure and academic standards. Fees is very low due to their non profit nature, but that was not a criteria for us at all in selecting the school. After living in USA for several years, we are glad we chose this school.

Schools like Bishop Cotton, Sophia etc were in our short list, but it was impossible to get in to those schools in the middle classes.

Hi, Speaking of International Schools.. We just moved to E city in Bangalore and have admitted our 4 year old to Treamis World School. We took our time and are happy that we chose Treamis. It is surrounded by natural vegetation and is the most beautiful campus I have ever come across. The facilities and amenities are all of International Standards. The staff and administration are very cordial, cooperative and know their jobs. It feels great to send my son to a school where they know exactly how they have to deal with each student individually. My son is very proud at this age to be in Treamis.
