    Namaskaram, Could anyone highlight the procedures for performing Thai Velli Kizhamai (3rd week) pooja at home, How many minimum Sumangalis to be invited, since we are residing abroad. This will be the first time to perform this..

    Even am looking for the same, am planning to do thai velli poojai this year staying at abroad, Would like to know how many sumangalis to invite, what neivadiyum to prepare for god. Also planning to do mavavilaku..Would really appreciate if someone knows the procedures and can share the same to benefit others...

    hi dhamu15 and chenngirl for this sumangali pooja you should invite minimum 7 sumangalis and the people order should be in one serious like 7, 9, 11

    Sumangali pooja is a home based pooja. In each family there exsist a set pattern of tradition procedure to follow during the pooja. Due to that no one has give any specific procedure for the Sumangali pooja. To know about your family prodecure please take advise of your elder which help you the most to complete your pooja in right way.The number of sumangalies should be 3,5,7,9 depends on the person availabilty.
