Paneer Butter Masala………..without onion or garlic. White pumpkin 1 cup Red pumpkin 2/3 cup Tomato puree 2/3 cup Paneer 100 gms Dry masala Red chilly powder 2 tsp or to taste Dhania powder 2 tsp Jeera powder 1 tsp Amchur powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Hing 1 tsp Kasoothi methi Coriander leaves Garam masala powder Last but not the least Butter Oil Salt to taste. Sauté the grated red pumpkin in oil for some time and then add the white pumpkin and sauté both together, then add water, if necessary and cook till both get cooked well, cool and grind to paste, you can add a few cashews along with the pumpkin before grinding. This forms a gravy without onion. In a pan add oil and add jeera, then add all the dry ingredients and stir well till it emits good aroma, then add grated ginger. Now add ground paste and then tomato puree and blend all together. Add salt to taste and cook till it comes to a boil, now add cubed paneer and mix well, see that paneer pieces do not break. Garnish with garam masala powder, kasoothi methi, finely chopped coriander leaves and a dash of butter. Serve hot with rotis, polkas or parathas. Happy cooking.
