96. நந்து, எறும்பு, தூக்கணம்புள், காக்கை, என்று இவைபோல்,
தம் கருமம் நல்ல கடைப்பிடித்து, தம் கருமம்
அப் பெற்றியாக முயல்பவர்க்கு, ஆசாரம்
எப் பெற்றியானும் படும்.

எறும்பு போல, கிடைக்கும் காலத்தில், உணவை சேர்த்துவைப்பது போல, தனக்கு முடியாத காலத்திற்கு இப்போதே சேர்த்து வைத்தாலும்,
தூக்கணாம் குருவி போல, குளிர் காற்று, மற்றும் தட்ப வெட்ப நிலைக்கு ஏற்றார் போல், வீடு அமைத்துக் கொள்ளுதலும்,
காக்கை போல், சுற்றத்தாரோடு கூடி இருந்து உண்ணுதலும் ஆகிய இந்த செயல்களைச் செய்தோம் என்றால், வாழ்க்கை சிறப்புறும்.

Only if we learn from the ants, the art of saving for the rainy days, from the weaver birds the way to protect our house from all seasons; and from the crows to share and live together, our life would be great.

97. தொழுதானும், வாய் புதைத்தானும், அஃது அன்றி,
பெரியார் முன் யாதும் உரையார்; பழி அவர்-
கண்ணுள்ளே நோக்கி உரை!

பெரியோர் முன் பேசுகையில், அவரைத் தொழுது, வாய்ப்பொத்தி பொய் உரைக்காமல் , உரையாடுவது, சிறந்த முறையாகும்.

Out of respect, when we talk to our elders, it is better to stand up and have our mouth partially closed by our hands and give only the true details.

98. சூதர் கழகம், அரவம் அறாக் களம்,
பேதைகள் அல்லார் புகாஅர்; புகுபவேல்
ஏதம் பலவும் தரும்.

சூதாடும் இடத்திற்கும், பாம்பு நீங்காது இருக்கும் இடத்திற்கும், அறிவயுடையோர் செல்ல மாட்டார்கள். சென்றால், பல துன்பங்களை சந்திக்க நேரிடும்.

Those who are wise, will not go to the places of gambling and also to the place where snake dwell, if at all, they should face many problems (in the future)

99. உறக் களத்தும், அட்டிலும், பெண்டிர்கள் மேலும் -
நடுக்கு அற்ற காட்சியார்- நோக்கார், எடுத்து இசையார்
இல்லம் புகாஅர் விடல்!

அறிவுடையோர், ஆரவாரம் செய்யும் இடத்தையும் , கோயிலில் சமையல் செய்யும் இடத்தையும், பெண்கள் இருக்கும் இடத்தையும், ஏற்றேடுத்து பாக்கமாட்டார், அங்கே பேச மாட்டார்கள், உள்ளேயும் , நுழைய மாட்டார்கள்.

Wise men will not peek into, enter into or even speak in those places where pompous and ostentation, reign; where the food is cooked (as an offering to the Almighty) and where women is present.

100. அறியாத தேயத்தான், ஆதுலன், மூத்தான்,
இளையான், உயிர் இழந்தான், அஞ்சினான், உண்பான்,
அரசர் தொழில் தலை வைத்தான், மணாளன் என்று
ஒன்பதின்மர் கண்டீர் - உரைக்குங்கால் மெய்யான்
ஆசாரம் வீடு பெற்றார்.

அந்நியனும், ஏழையும், வயதில் மூத்தோரும், வயதில் சிறியவரும், உயிர் இழந்தவனும், பயப்படுகிறவனும், உண்பவனும், அரசர் கட்டளையை ஏற்று நடப்பவனும், மணமகனும் ஆகிய இந்த ஒன்பது பேருக்கும், ஆசாரக் கட்டுப்பாடு இல்லை.

Foreigners, poor, elders, young, dead person, one who is afraid, who is having food, one who abides King's orders, the bridegroom are exempted from following any observances of their family or the dictates of one's scriptures.

இத்துடன் ஆசாரக் கோவை நிறைவு பெற்றது.
