New Year resolutions are so last century and pesky reminders of all that we will anyway not get done in the new year. Instead of a resolution, pick an advice you'd like to give yourself for 2019. Something you would stick on the mirror, put on the fridge, place near your computer, maybe save as wallpaper on phone or use as a signature here in IL. We promise we will not remind you about it in the new year. . .
Here are what I have for myself so far: - Don't yell at the kids. Lean in close and whisper, it's much scarier. - Don't yell at Mr. unless the house is on fire. - Done is better than perfect. - Never tell your problems to anyone ... 20% don't care and the rest 80% are glad you have them. - Skip the rat race. The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. And... - An empty lantern provides no light. Self-care is the fuel that allows your light to shine brightly.
This year was a damaging one for me since I got attracted to a wrong guy. My advice to myself is to - become self-sufficient before moving further in other phases of life and already working on it right now. But it's going to take time and will have to continue it through 2019. - stay dedicated to a task I start, most importantly weight loss. - be positive and happy by looking at what I have in life instead of cribbing about what I don't.
Note to self in the New Year ? OP says the same in this self-reminder: I would use this reminder: "Visits to my circus, by appointments only"
My advice to myself is to 1.Reduce my mobile usage and do something productive 2.Eat healthy 3. Stop procrastinating
Note to myself continue with my mantra : Eliminate Automate delegate This I tried to practice last year and need to continue this year
Stop yelling at my kid. Stop being negative about me Build self esteem Stop watching YouTube ,period. Stay happy.
Less active in social media. Learn new technologies.Dont want to waste time .Do something productive.want to be good professionally. Dress up well always,Take care of myself..Self care and love is much more important because not expecting it from any one else. Not to worry how in laws treat you. they may prick, poke , compare, love or hate .all I can do is not to react much and keep doing good .
Every year I write my resolutions on Jan 1, and then start implementing them on December 1. . So this year, to save me some guilt, I'll advice me to start on ...Nov... mmmm? ... lemme think about it. Jest aside, meticulous journaling, starting now!
