If you want new veena, you could buy from Thanjavur Veena Online Shopping Chennai India - vikud.com
This website, i recently bought veena from here. It's 100% jackwood. Also shipping is done by DHL/FedEx by vikud.com.
The cost of veena & shipping would come around 1000 to 1100$. Based on Your choice of veena with carving or only ekandam, join etc.
They get order, make veena after you place order....So lil time, but worth the wait time. Sound is amazing and tone is sharp from my veena, on comparing to other veena people who brought veena from leading music shops from Chennai/Hyderabad/Bangalore.
The leading music stores shipping also lil high.
You can check. If you want old one, you won't get less than 1000$.
