Hello all, I need suggestions for my 7 month old girl. I feed her bottled baby foods from Gerber or beechnut. She is not too fond of what I make at home. I tried that plus it s almost the same cost I think minus the hassles. I am a busy mom and this works with me. I am looking for tips to save on food jars if anyone of you uses it here. I registered into some baby sites and I get coupons, plus I directly get coupons from Beechnut and Gerber's. Any ideas ? I will look into baby foods threads too. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"> <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
I think target makes their own store-brand baby food. Have you tried to comparison-shop? Usually store-brands are lesser than branded products, so try to do a price-compare.
You should check this website its amazing. www.wholesomebabyfood.com you'll get all the tips you want.hope it'll help coz its :bowdownhelped me a lot with my lil one. :cheers
This is what I do for my 15 month old son. Once a week, buy fresh fish and chicken. Boil it, puree it and freeze it in an ice-tray in 1 ounce portions. Once frozen, I store the cubes in a ziploc in the freezer. When needed, I take out a cube or 2, defrost it, mix with veggies, tadka and cereal to feed my baby. I think you can follow the same process with fruits and veggies too. The wholesome baby website is good for ideas on what foods to use. I have also tried this process with cooked daal and it works well.
Thank you so much for your ideas. Freezing is great, but how do you thaw it ? <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
