Dear Chitra mam, Please provide me info on Vaikunta Ekadasi viratham. I heard that doing viratham on this day equals doing viratham for an entire year. Please provide your valuable suggestions towards.. How to perform pooja? What for it is done? Benefits to the devotees for this viratham. Dear Lavanya, Yes, it is said that doing viratham on this day equals doing viratham for an entire year. On the previous day - dasami-restrict yourself to one meal and milk & fruits at night. On ekadasi, wake uo early and after bath, daily puja stc, visit the temple to see Swarga Vasal. Avoid rice & urad dhal that day in the lunch (if at all you cannot manage without eating anything). Have milk, fruits, coconut water etc.One should keep awake that night chanting shlokas. Next day inclde nellikkai, agathikeerai& sudaikai in your meal. Plese do not ask me more doubts.
