Need friends in Michigan

hi, I live in New Jersey with my husband and we r Bengali. We are very new in US. Within a week we will move to Michigan (Probably Lansing). This place is again going to be a new place for us so i'm looking for Indian friends over there. We preferably want an apartment within Indian community. We don't have car and my husband don't have licence over here so Public Transportation is must needed for us. Each and every suggestion is highly appreciated. Thank u.
