Why dont you start doing some small projects in
    rentacoder.com ?

I am sure you can go to your local library , soup kitchen to check if they need some volunteers.

    Hi Kalp,

Its very hard to stay home all day and makes u feel depressed.
Try volunteering work check in your local library or try contacting the hospitals around your area they would always welcome more volunteers.

Be positive u will find something soon:thumbsup

    Kalp,

Job market is improving and you will get a job soon as you have worked into IT and have 3 yrs exp. And since u r close to NYC you have lot of options I guess.. Please update urself with automation tools like QTP, Selenium and even QC. Most of the reqts ask for this along with manual testing. Make urslef familiar with SDLC and different types of testing like - Unit, Integration, System testing and prepare well for interviews.

Keep udating your skills and learn as much as you can. Coz these days interviewers expect a lot!

Prepare well.. and I am sure you will get success... Have patience. You will need lots of it!

    Best of luck!
