@IL_Admin Happens to me too. At least a couple of times a day, I get an error message saying, your account has been temporarily locked because of too many failed login attempts. It doesn't let me sign in for 5-10 minutes afterwards. This happens on the very first attempt to sign in. I use a password manager to copy paste the password so I am pretty sure the password is not incorrect. Will post a screenshot once it happens again.
Me too.. getting the "account temporarily locked out because of many failed login attempts" message. Then to reset password it asked to enter national flower of India in captcha. I had to google. First I typed 'rose'.
Just one question trying to replicate the issue... So do you all login every time you want to access IL? None of you have your session logged in with 'remember password' option? In the latter case, if it's your personal device, leaving your session logged in will however offline your status after a few minutes of inactivity. But the next time you want to access IL you are automatically logged in. We are not asking you should be doing this, but suggesting an alternate way to keep yourself logged in. Also wanted to know if the issue appears every time when trying to login.
Yes. I don't use the 'remember password' option. In the past 5-6 days, it appears about 70% of the time I try to log in. Sometimes will say Incorrect Login and allows to try entering password again. Sometimes will straightaway say "account temporarily locked due to failed login attempts" even after first attempt. Further, it can sometimes shows the 'account locked' even after 15 minutes gap. I am quite positive I am entering the password right the first time itself.
Yes No Its a possibility . Also for what its worth I use chrome on a Mac Os X El capitan. Pretty sure that its not specific to this combination. I have been having this issue for a lot longer than 5-7 days . More like a month now. Also another suggestion. ..its more intuitive to have an option of choosing an image from ur desktop or URL when we click on the image icon . .. The current option seems u to require that u click upload file.
I don't stay logged in. I sign in each time I want to access IL. More than half the time. Been experiencing this since the forum upgrade. For what it's worth, here's another image of the error.
