Interesting post bhargavi. The one written by your young one is short & sweet. Why you have not published the one you have written to yourself? [humble eh? ;-) ] :rotflthat is actually a good thing you have written about. First we need to love ourselves.

My mother has the habit of saving the letters from dear ones and so do I (inherited quality). She has also saved the letter which my father had written to us when he had to work by staying away from home, the letter which I have written to my father when we went on a holiday to our aunt's place). they give us nice sweet memories of those days.

I preserved the letter from my late father and reads it whenever I feel low missing him badly. Though there are lot of technological development happened, still I write a letter atleast once a year to my mother and so does she. I have noticed people giving a odd look at me when they see me putting the letter into a faded postbox covered by dust (gives an unattended look) in some corner. those letters bring so much joy to our life.
