this was my idea of gift to my parents during my bidaai... it was a suprise for them.. i made a collage of few memorable pictures of our family with some nice quotations and message ..framed it nicely and gifted them when i was about to leave my house after marriage and before the barat.. it was so touching moment at that time... my famiily Loved it ....

very nice one. During my younger sister's marriage, she was too smart at all this since school time A day before her wedding she gave us all gifts...
For mom - a sparkiling set with a loving note
for dad - a penset with a lovely note
for brother - a big poster of his for his hostel room
for me and DH a silver phtoframe with our photograph
for DD - a calendar of coming year with her milestones very inteligently put u p monthwise, like in month of DH's birthday, there was a pic of DH and DD and so on....

And we didnt know of all this beforehand. I had also started giving her flowers from her firstest funtion that was a week before wedding day, the pooja... I started from a bunch of small jasmine flowers and each day I would get a little bigger one for her with a small sticky note. On her reception we took a CAULIFLOWER for her, the biggest flower available...rofl...

Such a nice thing to do, Aryashi! I bet they must have looked at it 100's of times after the Bidaai and cried even more! Bidaai is my least favorite function.
