Marvellous Swati! The barbet with their brown and green can camouflage themselves so well, so you sure got a good shot. Where I live I have to just be content listening to their calls. The trees they frequent are far away to try and spot them. Sindhu
Can understand that fully well Sindhu. I face the same problem with other birds and what drives me crazy is that they are all new ones and I don't even know what bird I am looking for. Some chirping sounds, some trilling ..... and of course I have mistaken the reverse horn of cars for bird calls :bonk :hide:
Oh, that has happened to me several times - the reverse horn of the car being mistaken by me as a bird call. Well, I am learning Sindhu
Hi Satchi.. did you click this pic?? its fantastic.. rarely one can capture these wonderful birds in the lens as they are so alert.. thanks for sharing.. I guess if you keep a few grains everyday on your balcony it will come a delight you K
Hi Kelly, yes, I clicked this pic. I tried keeping grains and water in the balcony, but it did not work. They have plenty of fresh greenery in the park outside. I think one idea would be to put up hanging, flowering plants. Let me try that.
