My beautiful daily visitor

I have taken pictures over the last two days. But they are very restless flitting from tree to tree. They barely sit long enough and by the time I hear the call, get the camera, spot the bird and then focus ..... Unusual luck today.

 

I don't know how I had forgotten to look at the birds and flowers and all beautiful things in the intervening years between childhood and now. Am really grateful for the time I have these days which allows me the luxury of rediscovering all the wonders of Nature.

Each little flower that opens
Each little bird that sings
He made their glowing colours
He made their tiny wings

He gave us eyes to see them
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty
He made them all things well
