    Wow,Lovely Satchi!How long did you wait before you took this shot?Hmmmm...another Karthik Swaminathan in the make???Just kidding...I was just wondering how long you would have taken before you took this shot.Such shots are not so easy particularly in itz natural form.

    Yes Riya. Was really lucky that the bird posed at the right angle for me to get all the colours. :)

    I had never seen even a picture of this bird before. Whenever I caught a glimpse of green flying past, I used to think they were parrots till one day it came and perched on a branch.

    That was truly brilliant ! Congrats for your superb photograhy skills and perfect timing to catch the little birdie to share with us . Such a perfect picture! Loved the pose ! seems like the birdie belongs to some big league modelling school...LOL! The colours are such a matching fit to aid a camouflage of the highest order.
    You have a very keen eye for spotting this beautiful creation.....cannot help marvelling at the vast variety in the bird and animal kingdom that the Creator has blessed us with.
