Moving to SanAntonio - suggest apts and school around UT area

    Planning to move to San Antonio in Jan 2014. Got a 4thgrader with me. Any suggestions for a decent apt and school in and around UT SanAntonio.

    Welcome to San Antonio. There are many apartments near UTSA like chase hill, maverick apartments. I don't know anything about schools. Sorry. If u need any queries post here. I will try to answer.

    I checked chase hill,the reviews were not good. But maverick had good reviews.how about the expense or cost of living?
    can u give me an insight of life in SA?

    Hi Revathy,
    I think maverick is student housing and fully furnished apartment. Chase hill apartments too majority of student residents. There are many apartments in that area with student residents. I am not in UTSA area but as far as I know rent is around 700-800 for single bedroom or even lesser than that.

    Are you in Austin now?.
