Yesterday I made dosa with three fourth glass moong dal. one fourth glass rice. Grinded moong dal and rice with little water and salt. Made tomato chutney. First in oil fried mustard, urad dal, chana dal, green chilly , ginger, kadipatha, when ready added onion fried a little , then added tomatoes., then added salt and haldi and hing powder. This I grinded . Half kept it aside to mix with dosa batter and make dosa. The other half added oil and added this grounded paste and kept it till it became thick.

Did not mix the tomato gravy to the batter. While making dosa first put the batter , then the tomato mixture and made dosa and had it with tomato chutney

    Dear Vijima,

Even I do moongdal dosa, carrot dosa, tomato dosa, vendaika dosa etc.. but I add jeera, curry leaves and 2 red chilly for your above said proportion and also half portion of cucumber for grinding. Cucumber will help to subside the effect of heat in the body. Try this once Vijima
