    Thanks for stepping in yes hand made are the great gifts which we can give to near and dear ones. I usually do that as I love to make but how many can I keep for myself so I present them on some occasions or the other. Especially for the new born I always knit something or the other.

    Hi Uma
    The green one I have done it with wool but u can do it with crochet thread too, and the peach one have done it with the thread. As these i have done them very very long back but will find the pattern and post it. But I have no idea if i will take the pattern on camera from the book will it work............
    But typing down the whole patternbonkbonk
    I will try in a few days and will put it up.

    Thanks for your encouragement. i am not so good dear to expose it to the world I have tried to do somethings with whatever simple things I know. I have seen so many threads here the ladies have done such wonderful stuff with complicated designs.
    hard stitches etc etc...............

    aruna yaar,

    you have mentioned about borrowing hook.....same with me.shakehead..once did a jumper for a friend.where i had done the body with a no.1knitting needles and a very elaborate neckline with a circular needle...the lady who lent me those was behind me..every otherday, so had to finish it fast....later picked up those needles from pony industries, ooty...when we went there...

    i have the habit of presenting new borns with made personally... baby jumpers, sweaters in baby blues, baby pinks.....have stopped now..maybe will start again:idea

    now, feeling better...but still have a long way to go towards recovery according to my doctors....still on a combination of alternative medicine....

    Hope you will be fully recovered soon God help you to recover fast.

    Wow yaar even I too do the same thing espicially if I have to go to see the new baby. I have done so many of them. I still do them when I come to know a new one is arriving will start making, I though only I am crazy of doing and gifting these stuff nice to know you too are in the same train.
    Atleast you got that needle I still not able to get it.......
    We had an exhibition in Australia and those people made a very few of them and sold out it was the last one and my friend brought it but she was kind enough to lend it to me and i could feel happy making it for myself and my son.
