making homemade herbal oils

    It seems the best oils are ones you mix up your self. I'm new to making my own, and I'm looking for some general tips to make it easier and less time consuming.

    When I heat the herbs in the oil it seems like alot of the oil gets absorbed by the herbs and I lose some of the oil and it goes to waste. Whats the best way to strain/filter it and get every drop of oil out of the herbs?

    You will lose some oil but on the positive side you get good benefits from herbs na why worry???
