There was a great writer in US, who was also a rationalist.

In those days people believed that fixing a worn out shoe of a horse, on the door, at the entrance of the house, will bring luck to the owner of the house .

One day a friend visited the writer . He was astonished to see a horse- shoe fixed on the door at the entrance.

Pointing to the horse shoe , the friend asked the writer whether he believed in such superstitions .

The writer replied his friend ,”I have no belief in it . But my friends told me that even if I have no belief it will bring me luck .”

    (Read somewhere, long back).

    :hello:
It is quite true. Whether one believes in superstition or not the angel luck will decide to whom to bless with.

The government of atheists issues order to temple authorities to perform poojas yagnas homams to invoke rain God to bless Tamil Nadu with rains. The storm fany drifted away from TN toward Odisha and West Bengal.
