It is very clear that you relationship is BEYOND any repair and the reality is you need basic needs of life like sex and love. And you are stuck in this relationship for various other reasons.

I don't see any harm in you looking out for what you don't get as long as YOU CAN HANDLE it well without disturbing your responsibilities as a mother etc.

You SHOULD go ahead and do it (whatever the name it is called) If you can HNADLE it wel.

Pondering the cascading effects of a loveless marriage is not that far off-topic.
