"Eight!", that shy girl said when I Asked her age and I felt so sad. Never one I am to believe that lie That child labor is addressed hard. In markets, malls and numerous Small shops that are everywhere You spot at least one! Ominous! You mean as you just don't care! Government says that its spending Millions yet, there is no change. Unless we unite, nothing can bring A change. There is a slight chance. In those hands that wipe the tables, Mend the shoes, shows dress range, Working is stalls and parking lots, Selling In the beach and at signals There lies a potential unseen. Let us try giving them a chance To get educated. That isn't mean. Yet their lives will surely be enhanced. We can help in numerous ways. Donating cash, clothes and books And other stationery too may Bring that little change. But look! We can do much more too! Lets teach them something we know, And address their concerns truly. A part of our time will do. You know?
So true RGS. When will things change? Will they change? Help given unless willingly received is also of no use. Let's hope both sides are open and that we awake to a brighter tomorrow.
Thanks a lot Lakshmi KM Bhat for your like and a nice feedback. Lets hope, wish and do something from our side too, to address this. -rgs
You are right Satchi. When faced with a disbelief and lack of hope, lets try doing our part a bit first and then see how best we can encourage others. Whether that works for others or not, at least, we will feel better that we are trying something good. Thanks for your nice feedback. -rgs
