Life

What’s life all about?

So many feelings

That a bunch of words can’t express,

So many moments

That a lifetime can’t hold,

So many memories;

That may be sweet or bitter at times,

So many thoughts;

That may be euphoric or saddening.

Life means impermanence.

Moments tick away,

Today becomes yesterday,

Days turn into nights

And time waits for none.

Life’s a fleeting arena of

Triumphs and failings,

Love and hatred

And it moves on waiting for none.

Life is uncertain.

It’s a mirage at times

Or a hazy labyrinth.

Yet it’s all about hope;

To build dreams and achieve,

It’s an assurance of a better tomorrow.

Life is also about miracles;

Believable or unbelievable

But definitely unfathomable!

All that life needs is

A safety net woven by

Unfailing threads of love

And faith, toughened by

Heartfelt and selfless

Prayers of kindred souls.

Lucky is a life that realises

To love and be loved is better than

All the treasures in this world.

How true. Hardly many realizes this! Once true realization of what life is sets in then it flows like a stream irrespective of all the hurdles finding a way to go around or over. At that point we simply have to be there in the moment and let it flow.

This is the essence of life and it is nice you have concluded with this precious crown jewel of wisdom. The very core of every being seeks love and it is love that brings peace and it is peace that brings bliss. We fill the frame with encryption that prevents the essence of Anandamaya Kosha to manifest. The differences among beings are peripheral and impermanent and a very core of each person seeks love and nothing but love. They are nothing but mirror image of our core. It is the mind that reads another mind instead of reading its own core filled with love to connect with the core of others.

Thought provoking post and you have analysed life so well. True so many feelings which can't be expressed. Life teaches us so many things. We have to experience to understand life. So many people come and go but some we can never forget.They leave sweet memories. We can't forget school days,working days etc. Very true to live and to be loved is the greatest treasure. .

Before marriage we get love from our parents and siblings. But after marriage we are separated. Each of us have their own family . In old age parents are alone and they have each other to love and be loved

Today only I was talking of love. My contract bus friend took us for a marriage in his car and dropped us back. Also took us to see another friend who is not well. I was telling another friend I get so much love from friends and they are there for me when needed for which she was saying that's because you are loving. In that way I am blessed to get love from everyone

Thanks for this elucidation, Viswamitra Sir. My favourite way of understanding it is through the phrase, I am another you; we are all the same within and we are from the same source, yet we differentiate between one another.
