Here's a new puzzle inspired by conversations elsewhere on IL. As always, the aim is to entertain with a story you might not know. The clues refer to a historical event. Difficulty level -> Easy, but somewhat complexified to make the exercise at least a bit non-obvious. No prior knowledge required, but where it exists, is always useful, especially for one specific clue; but then, although every clue is informative, not all clues are required for a solution. A subset (with Google-Fu) will do! More clues as requested. Note that Row-2, panels (1 + 2) constitute one search term. There! I gave the store away! Some of the clues are entertaining in themselves - one for its content and the other ... well, let's just say it's almost an internet obligation, but a first for LFUT-Neurons!
No! We'll let a few others take a shot at it before adding more clues. Keep trying! PS: In case the pic boundaries are not clear, note that Row-2, panel-1 includes all 3 stick figures, and panel-2 includes pic + inset. And I'm not sure how you arrived @ 9 CE. The pics that may indicate earlier periods point somewhere else, no?
Hmmm I'm super scared to go in depth. He is too Jewish for where I live! My face will be overstruck too!
Right track for that clue, but I'm not sure I understand your cryptic reference. Look at the picture more carefully! With a bit of Google-Fu, it's very, very easy! Not a 'he'.
