    You cannot use time from india for puja. due to longitude, latitude and sunrise and sunset everything changes...

    Dear Chitra Aunty,

    Another question:

    - Can I light the deepam for extended family members who do not live with us and leave it outside the whole night (for brother in law, co-sister, my mother, close friends etc).

    This will be the first time for me lighting the deepam on thryodasi and I would like to ensure that I do it right. (Somehow the name Yama Deepam is instilling slight fear at the corner of my heart)

    Please let us know specific timings as well for Deepam and Kubera poojai.
