Actually...i have these Holy books at my place so I have read these topics through books. If you Google....."description of hellish planets in Srimad Bhagvatam"...you would be able to find lot of information online. Hope this helps.
I have wondered about the same thing - if ignoring someone because they are too hurtful , a negative thing to do? And have told myself to live with it until I attain sainthood. Since there is no way I will welcome ,people who to treat me badly, into my life
to the wise ladies, what r ur thoughts on karma,..have u seen some cases of karma ....i was told about one or two ...it was awful for the people undergoing it.... even in western world, lot of highly educated people believe in karma.....psychics and past life regression specailists including ivy league yale educated doctor studied that there is an element of karma associated with suffering that anyone goes through.... even in western world, people have observed that most karma's come to fruition in this lifetime... psychics n past life regression specialist also say this n also have noticed that if any karma is left n if someone dies then the remaining karma will come to haunt in next life where the bad person in past life becomes the victim... n these specailists said that there is no sorry in karma's dictionary......its like if u throw bad energy, u r gonna get bad energy today, tomorrow or later...mostly i have read cases that if someone has tortured someone emotionally or physically n then when karma strikes, it strikes back when the accused is most vulnerable n it strikes with double the wrath.....sometimes in the form of huge money problems or mental illness or grave physical illness or amputations or accidents leading to amputations or grave injuries which makes a person bed ridden or ill-treatment during illness by near n dear ones.... DEFINITELY, there is a supreme power called GOD who most of the times doesn't deliver justice on time but when GOD delivers justice, no one can help the bad person---, it doesn't rain, it pours on the bad person !
Since laws of karma spread over past birth (s)...so it's difficult to document or measure or quantify them. But God is called father and holy scriptures are called mother and those who have faith in these two know for sure that karmic laws are extremely exact...impartial..and stringent. We reap what we sow.
Hi, I guess I just posted on one of the post you started. Strangely, now call it Karma or whatever- I would like to direct you to another Post: Dissipiating Karma by @CoolPie. Some posters have interesting responses on it. Do check it out if you want different perspectives.
Hi friend, The way to escape Karma is to boldly face it, and mentally offer the results, good as well as bad, to the God who is shining in every persons heart. When one does this, it is a step towards mental purification, which will ultimately lead to knowledge of life. When this knowledge arises, you automatically shed all past karma, good and bad. There is no other way out.
