    Hi viji, The black with blue set is very nice, could you explain me the step by step of this making. i want to learn and make one with your help.

    I used silk thread .7 (i think) two threads... inserted blue beads each thread...inbetween used black bead. I used bead&button magazine to do that necklace. In the end, i added more silk thread and braided just how we do how hair...If i find that magazine again, i will scan for the steps and post it here. I would like to see the stuff you made. Thank you for your comments.

    Some more stuff i made.
    1st - Mother of pearls & Jasper (maroon color) with anique finish spacers.
    2nd - simple pearls with pendant i bought from Pothy's stores for my 2nd daughter to wear with her pattu pavadai.

    I got all materials from US - mostly michael's, some from Craigslist and Jade i bought in NewJersy. The pendant i used for pearl necklace, i bought in chennai - Pothy's last time i came there...
    I get ideas from reading local magazines and some from internet. I am hoping to learn more about Kundan jewellery when i visit this time chennai.
