Hi Annasari, I am so sorry for such a late reply. I just saw these post now. Well I have tried mysore pak couple of times and it comes out quite good. Most of the time I use the given proportion, once I tried using pinch of baking soda but the outcome was : very hard mysore pak. So I am sticking to the given version of the recipe for quantity and time. The thing I have noticed is that if you make mistake with amount of milk to be added then mysore pak doesn't come out that well. Hope this helps. N.B: I do make micro-wave peda for a while now. Process and requirements of the ingredients is same as given in this thread, only thing is according to my experience preparation time differs from microwave to microwave. Sometimes for a variation I trend to add ricota cheese or sometimes almond essence or rose water. If using ricota, then amount of milk powder should be reduced.
Re: Instant Indian deserts I tried microwave doodh peda for ganesh chaturti..came out really yummy. was very easy also. will try other recipes now
