Hey friends, Is there any way of making idlis and dosas in a few hrs time...my DS is a picky eater and sometimes when I ask him what he wants to eat, he says idli or dosa :hide:...and I don't always have the batter... I don't like to use the instant packets (like Gits) always. If any of you have any ideas, pls reply. Thanks, Anvita
A.Take two cups of Rava(sooji), one cup of Rice Flour, half cup of Maida-mix them all well. B.Cut into very small pieces 1.ginger 2.one or two green chillies 3.one or two big onions. C.Take two table spoonful of jeera(cumin) and one table spoonful of black pepper. D.Salt, accordingly. E.Karuveppilay. Add all these items and mix well, thoroughly (in a big vessel) making the mixture almost a uniform one. Don't add water to the whole mixture, unless you are going to make use of the whole portion immediately. Add water only to the part you are going to use now. You can make very nice Onion Rava dosai with this batter . (You need not add curd or buttermilk.)
