Hi ladies, does anyone knows abt this condition .. My friends 8 months old baby is having it .. Need to know if there are good docs around banglore or chennai who can treat this.
I am not familiar with this but a quick google search shows that its not a common thing. I am so sorry to hear this. Apparently it affects the tissues and spreads to one or many parts of the body. Can be painful too. The prognosis doesnt seem very encouraging and I am so sorry to say this. Did she take the baby to any big hospitals? Like Apollo? If they dont provide treatment there, perhaps they can refer the baby elsewhere they do provide the treatment. Early intervention of course helps a lot.
@nimnik Very sorry to hear about your friends baby. Honestly it is going to be a long road towards recovery. Has the baby's milestones been delayed? Check for dermatologists who specialize in pediatric dermatology.
