when you say hypoplastic does it mean that even if you conceive your uterus is too small to fit a baby inside ?
even my overies are very small and could not generate healthy eggs but my doctor had give me heavy doses of injection to produce more and healthy eggs..
not sure if you could try the option of surrogate mother... I was given that option and I was considering it..

    hi shruthi ; arnavi

dear why dont you all try ayurveda for this problem of
    underdeveloped uterus or ovaries.
    its really very effective.
my didi's on ayurvedic medicines from a delhi based ayurvedic clinic; and she has shown considerable growth.
you all can give it a try.
n trust me it will be worth a try.
    goodluck shruthi and arnavi.

    hello dear sonia
i have logged in just to thank you for your post.
my family member whom i had mentioned has asked me to do so.
she already had a child, but when she was trying for the second time she could not conceive.
on regular check ups, her pelvic usg showed
    ovaries not visualized? Atrophied.
the scanning doctor told her that this could be the probable reason for your ovarian failure.. and hence infertility.
As per your advice we took ayurvedic treatment although not for uterus but for atrophied ovaries for about three four months.
Recently new scan showed both the ovaries within normal limits.
and she's having regular cycles with healthy ovulation every month.
she's feeling so emotional after seeing all this.
Now she's satisfied with the fact that she's has good chances which at some point of time felt almost impossible.
thank you once again for your valuable advice.
god bless you and your sister.

    Hi everyone ,

i was diagnosed with hypoplastic uterus with bilateral small ovaries.
Actually my problem dates back to my teens.
Waited for natural menstruation to start, but it never happened.
Waited from 7 th standard to 12 th but it never started on its own .
Earlier we kept waiting as we heard that it happens late in some girls n like that.
But after all these failed attempts, we felt worried and started focusing seriously on this issue.
This was the time when we went to consult a gynae, and she did some basic examination and asked me to get a ultrasound done of the lower abdomen.
To my shock the ultrasonologist, said that my uterus and both ovaries were small in size.
After hearing him say this me and my parents were almost in tears.

This was followed by numerous visits to various gynaecologists and other drs of this field.
    Various tests were performed
    Karyotype was normal
    Tsh was normal
But fsh and lh were at the rock bottom .

A couple of months passed by and i was still on medications but there was no sign of natural menstruation. And no growth.
So now my online search has brought me here.
I am considering to start suntex treatment soon
    Any opinion/ advices??

    Deleted, with apologies.
Conception requires both parties, but my experience of IL sensibilities suggests that it's best for men to stay out of such discussions - even the purely physiological aspects.
