Husband's likes and dislikes

I am Vaniat from Mumbai. I am housewife.
This is my first post.
I am staying with husband for 23 years. Ours is arranged marriage.
He is somewhat short tempered man. But good with me.
He has got his own likes and dislikes.
And i accepted it.
But one problem is there which i dont understand how to solve.
He doesnt like woman keeping her hair open.
I was having long hair. I started cutting my hair when i was 35. And now at the age of 45 my hair length is till shoulder.
I feel and i know open hair look good on me and helps me to look younger.
But as my husband doesnt like i cant do that.
Please suggest.

Thanks for the reply.
But as i said he is short tempered, doing such thing may make him angry and he will become upset.
I dont want to do that.
Also many times when some guests come for dinner or lunch at home, i try to look fresh and young.
As my hair are short, i think open hair is the most beautiful hairstyle which i cant do in front of them.
I will feel very bad if he shouts on me in front of those people.
Please suggest me something.

 

He doesnt listen to me. His nature is like that.
He is very stubborn and if he doesnt like, he wont discuss that topic.
That is the problem.
He closes the discussion before taking it further.
And he shouts in front of anybody.
