He is trying to take advantage by showing sad face.
I wonder why some act like they don't understand the hints.
In the end we tend to become bad, once we voice.
This been happening for a while.
    Put an end to this

This complete lack of direct communication is really hurting Indians.

So, yesterday was last day I provided afterschool care for the girl..That guy came around 7.30.after completing his shopping. Said he is planning to send her to some other friend's house or take her to office. There is place available in day care but they are demanding to book the place in advance. .. I didn't say anything and this guy went off without saying a single word "thanks"..

Anyhow I am happy and relieved. If he comes again after 6 with his daughter I am not going to open the door.

Thank you lovely ladies for your concern and advice. thanks a lot.

Wow.. that was very rude of him. At the minimum, a $100-200 amazon gift card would have been a good though insufficient way to say thank you. Or, even an offer for your kids or your older one to go over to their place (whether you send or not being a different matter).

Won't that be hard to do? More so with summer and extended daylight? What will you tell your kids? Try to have a list of 5-10 ready to use excuses. My favorite would be "I am about to take a long, relaxed, candle-light bath". It being a different matter that you are not the long, relaxed, candle-light bath type. : )

Good Job on getting rid of the free afterschool care.. but some points on the achievement are deducted because the school year has almost ended. Don't let him even drop her off now and then. Complete abstinence. Staying home when you could be working means that time better be devoted to spending time with your children. More so, if you are planning to go back to work.

    Not even thanks??
I wonder how some people are so shameless. Recently encountering such ones. I can understand how you feel.
Hereafter post school reopen too, never ever look of the girl even for 10 min.
Simply say can't take risk. Sorry.
If it's for me, kind of help in alien nation I would have done astanga namaskar.
