Hi, How to prepare powder version of agathi keerai? My cousin leaves in bachelor accomodation, He cannot cook, Hence is there any way wherein I can powder the agathi keerai without loosing its vitamins, So that i can be consumed as powder? or any other way like pickles? etc? regards chitu
I do this procedure to dry up thyme and other flavoring herbs; you may use the same procedure for drying up this keerai too - Take a paper carry bag and make some cuts, so you could have some air comin in through it Throw in some keerai and staple the top I would suggest leaving it for about a month After a month you'd find the leaves all dried-up; Now take the leaves and grind them. If you've got no patience then throw it in the oven at not more than 160 degree F and wait till they turn crispy then grind them. I hope that helps. Its really sad that I dont get this keerai in Bangalore :rant
