Its our Custom to keep bindi for new born babies.The main purpose of using this home made bindi,is to avoid any allergic side-effects while using the Eyetex or any other brands as we can't rely on the purity of these products.
it is safe and healthy to use this recipe.

This santhu becomes harder when its fully dried.
Whenever you want,drop some some water and rub with your index finger,you will get smooth paste like gel.Using a shaper/stick or with your index finger you can design bindis.
Will take some time to dry.Glossy bindis are the result.
This is somewhat like Liquid/paste bindi type.

Javarasi is called Sago in English &
Sabudana in Hindi.

Sandhu pottu is the liquid form bindi..mm I can think of Singar Kumkum Liquid form brand.
