Hiring Process For A Software Testing Job In Usa

Hi All,

Would like to know about hiring process and what different types of screening will be done for a QA analyst job in USA?
Things to keep in mind while applying for such jobs and docs to keep ready?

Little background about me:- I have 3 yrs exp way back in India and i have 7 yrs break in USA since my last job here.

PS: Forgive if some one has already asked before. I couldn't spend much time in searching the thread because of my little one.
