    In India and too in south india you can get these silk sarees from nalli silks, RMKV, chennai silks..
    And there are more silk sarees centers there...:) happy shopping...

    Go to pothy's shop in chennai and you will find lots and lots of silk sarees in different names, varieties, colors and costs.All you need is just take this pic with you and ask them to show the similar kinds.

    Did you check out Wedding collection on RMKV website? They have similar but not so heavy silk sarees.

    The types Rekha is wearing are pure heavy kanjeevaram sarees which cost upwards of 1.5-2laks. Such sarees are generally made to order.

    I have exactly similar one that Gold Saree (First pic in second photo). I bought in Thirubuvanam which is near kumbakonam. That place also famous for Silk Saree. I ordered to wavers directly. get it done for my marriage.
