hi, I have doubt. Sould we start with the dot on top first and you told about drawing circle I am not clear with that. Please clear my doubt. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Malspie. I am also providing a reputation point for this excellent and helpful post. Since the reputation system is not transparent I thought I should clearly indicate it.
Where do you go to provide the reputation point? Pls explain. Thanks. I find this thread very usefull too...
It is all explained in the author's first post. I'd suggest no non veg including egg, eat at least one time un-cooked food (fruits, salads etc); Act as if you are a Brahmachari for the 45-48 days even if you are married. In addition to the picture given here, in Tamilnadu, it is popular to use the Jaya Anjaneyar picture by Artist Sri Vinu (kalki)....
Dear Malspie, Thanks for the detailed post with step by step procedure. Just one doubt. After 48 days, what do we do with the picture? Can we have it at home in the pooja shelf? Can we reuse the same picture, if we have to do the puja again later? Pls clarify. Thanks. Subhashini
Hi Subha2309, I have done this pooja with the Vinu Kalki Jaya Hanuman picture, which is suitable due to the visible tail forming like a question mark over Hanuman. If you don't have the said Jaya Hanuman picture, you can always use the Hanuman picture holding the mace and Sanjeevani mountain, since the tail is quite visible too. After 48days, you can keep the picture in your altar and also reuse it if u want to do the pooja again. Please don't hesitate to ask any question if need arises. Sri Rama Jeyam
Hello Malspie, Thanks for a valuable post I have few questions regarding the pooja. What kind of food can we eat while performing this pooja? After completing the pooja can we keep the picture with us?Please explain
