    Henna
We all are aware about the appreciable effect of henna on hair. It is easily available and possesses effective results. Henna is a natural colorant to our hair. It gives a natural shiny color to the hair. Besides coloring your hair it conditions your hair too. It gives strength to your hair.

Take henna powder (2tbsp), yogurt (1 tbsp), fenugreek (1 tbsp), coffee (3tbsp), basil (2 tbsp), and mint juice (3tbsp).
Mix all well to get a paste like consistency and apply on your hair followed by washing after 2 to 3 hours.

There's a gene behind the process that controls it, named IRF4 which involves the pigment or melanin production. I did spend most of my 30s covering it up, but really I had my epiphany soon after my 35th birthday

How interesting, I have an increased buildup of melanin that shows on my skin as freckles on my face with one slightly large "age spot" on my left cheek bone. According to the desk research & confirmation from my doc in order to reduce my melanin buildup I have to increase the intake of food that contains Vit A, C, E & K (K recommended by my doc) read: Are there any natural ways to reduce melanin production in the body? - Quora I have also found Shade All Natural Sunscreen with SPF25, very reasonably priced. I cleanse & tone my face as usual using Monsia Skincare but before applying the day moisturiser I apply aloe vera gel then Vit E oil, then the day moisturiser followed by the Shade sunscreen. So far so good and freckles and age spot have faded but I know it is going to take much more time for the age spot to disappear, however it is much lighter now and is easily covered by my foundation. Your comments would be greatly appreciated faithgrime.

P.S. I have spotted 3 strands of black hair - how is this possible? Would it possibly be to the increased melanin buildup????

    Hello,
In my opinion you should do the following points for the black hair mention below
    • Massage butter oil into your scalp and hair daily before your shower.
    • Eat sesame
This also helps in overcome the hair loss problem.

If you are serious about your hair's health? Then go ahead for a medical checkup with certified hair specialist. It won't paid you and your problem will most probably be solved.

Curry Leaves and Coconut Oil Massage

    Ingredients:

    Coconut Oil – 1 Cup

    Curry Leaves – Handful

Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning.
