Hi Shubini, I am yet to decide which gynec to consult, pls advice me whether I can look for some good doctors in the city or some local doctors just because they are near to my home.I live in tambaram. How did you manage to travel such a long distance? And last month did u go and get admitted after you got pain or you went in advance. In case of any emergency in the last month, is it possible to travel such a long distance?

I came to know Dr.Geeta Arjun from Kalyanai Hospital Mylapore is a very good doctor. Please can anyone tell me how much does it costs for normal and c-section with Dr.Geeta Arjun?

I am 7 months pregnant and in sholinganallur area recently relocated to chennai. Any feedback on Dr.Puspha latha from Global hospitals. As I understand Global does not do deliveries.

Also how is chettinad healthcare for Delivery facilities. Are there good doctors available.

My sister is suffering from multi fibroids in her uterus and doctor advised for the removal of uterus.
she got the diagnosis from Dr.Madhu Priya from Apollo Hospital, Greams Road.

Please suggest where can we have this surgery? Does the surgeries are taken in good manner at apollo?
Kindly let me know if any good doctor specialised in this surgery.

There are two school of thoughts. to treat fibroids rather than surgery according to few doctors and others opt for surgery. do go for a second opinion before opting surgery..and what is the age of your sister

My sister's age is 37.
We thought of going for labroscopy but the doctor advised to go for cut-open as the fibriods are in multiples. more over the size of the fibroid is like a 4 month baby size.

Even we went for second opinion to another doctor where she said the same.
My actual concern is Will the doctors from Apollo are experienced in doing this kind of surgery?
Can we take up the operation there itself?
Please advise .
