    Thank you IL friends.

Anuradha, its a nice writeup and I also agree that people will be adopting one of these approach or maybe a combination which may evolve them into a more balanced person as against if only one of the approach is being adopted to.

Anything that's fragile has to be kept out of reach of people who don't have the mental or physical capability/ desire to handle it carefully...
The desire is greatly affected with availability... easily seen when you have abundant wealth you dont worry a child damaging something cos you know you can go ahead and buy another piece as against a person with limited resources who handles the same product with care. You can replace N number of cheap/easily available items but savour the one which is scarce.
So how you deal with a person depends on how important that person is for you and how easily you can replace him/her in your life and the attitude you wear on your sleeves.

Relationships can be fragile ..depending on the people and behaviour involved...
Sand can make glass or brick.. it all depends if you were raised to be a highly emotional individual or a carefree bully...

My Goodness, what the sound philosophy you have on relationship!

I agree with you that Sand can make glass or a brick! It all depends on the brought up of the person!

I have often found (both from my own experience and observing others) that all human relationships (whether family, friends or strangers) are founded on patience and understanding. It is said "Infinite patience produces immediate results".

Right mental attitude is very important. There must be forgiveness and forgetting of all imagined grievances.

Be kind and generous in your appreciation of others.

Develop an attitude of gratefulness for all the good things of life. Cultivate a personal quality of seeing and talking of only the good and the positive in others.

Do unto others as you would be done by.

Changing your thoughts is the key.

Also keep reading inspirational books and audios. Read and listen to Dr.Wayne Dyer for instance. Some are available on youtube.

Giving is the most important factor. And the most important gift is to allow the other person space. Keep expectations to a minimum to avoid disappointments. Disappointments lead to bitterness and ego issues. Both can destroy a relationship.
