Fluency In English.

Shankar was very fond of English .
His ambition in life was to speak English fluently --"Others should wonder at me speaking in English ," he would say .
He had been learning English for the past TWENTY YEARS or so , still his " English is not doing well".
He was always 'mourning' for not having sufficient fluency in English.
For the past two days he was babbling something like "beggars" ,. "beggars " ...
His sister Vanitha asked him , " What happened to beggars , what are you telling ?"
Shankar replied : " I have been trying for years , but can't master English . But
even the beggars are speaking SO FLUENTLY in English , in USA."
