I am sitting and staring at the screen. A blank box in front of me and me tongue-tied, sorry finger-tied (I have to tap the keys, right)? What do I say? The weather is warming up. Am already missing the winter and dreading the warm days to come. I know that sounds crazy, but give me the winters ..... any day!

As for those of you in far away continents, this is officially the end of summer, but the weather is still freezing. Am sure you are looking to the songs of birds and crocuses pushing their way up through that snow. Well, soon enough. This month will fly past like all others, or rather much faster, given the fact it is 3 days short of 31 or 2 days short of 30.

That means that you, my friends, will have to work harder to "fill the unforgiving minute (spent on IL) with sixty seconds’ worth of distance run" and hasten to bring in the nominations, so we, the FP team, will have some real work to do.

Looking forward to a lot of delightful stuff to read in the coming month.

Thanks a lot for the nomination Vijima. With your nomination as 'boni', I hope this thread will be flooded with nominations this month. I don't want to sound greedy, but I hope the number goes up to the 30s.

The response to your thread is really a pleasure to read. It paints a word image of the office atmosphere until the change of the century. There was a personal touch unlike today where every worker is a mere cog in the wheel. They have stopped to be 'people'. More's the pity.
