etihad is a good airline and we have travelled by it several times- good aircraft, quality food and entertainment.

regarding baggage, since you have not mentioned to which region you have booked your ticket (and from where), which class etc- as the baggage allowance differs for their different class and to the sectors they flay. kindly check yours with this link below
Baggage information

a small bit of info (or experience) regarding etihad's baggage poilicy is that- they are very strict with their numbers. I was flying once and i was allowed to carry 23 kilos (checkin ) and 7 kgs in hand. i had 24 kilos and they made shift that 1 kilo to my hand baggage and even weighed my hand baggage to make sure that i was in the bracket.

i have had friends who havent been spared either- so double check the weight of your luggage before you leave for the airport.

As Sithara stated, Etihad has strict baggage policy.
They are have a good extra baggage payment which in my terms is quite affordable.

I assume you are travelling in Coral Economy calss.

You can carry,

-> 2 checking luggage of 23 kgs each
-> One hand luggage of 7 Kgs.

Hi Chitu,

That you can check by calling Etihad, because the first time I travelled they said, I can carry a laptop bag with just the laptop and and additional bag of 7 KGs. So you can just call Etihad helpline not sure if anything changed now. Else I will anyways travel before you to India so will post my experience once I travel.
