    Hi Krishnamma

Thanks for all the delicious recipes. I tried a few and they are all so good. I am really looking for recipe for Davangere Benne Dosa recipe. I used to eat them as a child when I visited my aunt in Davangere, Karnataka. She also used to make green chilli based pickle called "Karandi". She usually added carrots, beans to it and stored it for about a month only. I will be so excited to get these recipes. Could you post them, please Krishnamma? Please.

    Dear Krishnamma,

Just saw this thread. Very good effort.

Just one doubt, you have mentioned cashewnut as gerbeeja but I have heard as Godambi. Are both the same? Kindly clarify.

What are sultanas - is it dry grapes?
