    Hi Folks
    What happened yesterday -
he was going for the pallu - he has finished pallu and then body first 2/3rds
    To-day -
he rolls the saree by rolling the side frame. So that he can reach the centree part of the saree to complete the floral pattern on the upper part of the body. After that he dismantles the saree from the frame and moves the saree and goes to the end of the saree - the last 1/3rd ,to do the floral pattern. Once that is done THE DESIGNER SAREE WILL BE BORN.
So tomorrow is the expected due date. We hope the delivery will be smooth and uneventful.
Let us wait for the new born tomorrow then.........
    .......to be continued........
    till then bye
PS - I hope there is enough space in my attachment quota to send rest of the pics tomorrow :spin

It was amazing. What a work! However, you are a very patient person to do such a work.

    Keep it up.

    Hi Folks
The designer saree is finally BORN ! :thumbsup
Yesterday I could not send the pics as the server was down. Sorry.
    The story continues ………..

The body of the last 1/3rd of the saree was done and so also the sleeves of the blouse. The work is finally over.

So the labour was smooth and uneventful. Finally it was born at 7.00 pm yesterday. The baby is fine and looks healthy. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! :rotfl
But then for a mother her baby is always good. Waiting for the criticisms from the pandits, suggestions n opinion from the frens, comments from all you folks. :hide:
I feel the LABOUR OF LOVE IS NOT LOST ! :)

Just a quick n brief tour about the work -
Pallu - The pallu is designed with two big floral patterns n to bring them out small floral patterns are done scattered around it.
Chest - The big floral pattern was done over the chest. This will adorn your chest if the saree is draped in Nive’s style n will settle on the back if draped in gujarathi style.
Border – It is done with simple curved lines with leaves. The upper part, up to the pleats from the pallu and the lower part up to 4 ½ m
Body – The body is done with small floral patterns 12” apart with alternating orange n white color.
Blouse Sleeves - Small floral pattern – orange color, so that it is not flashy n also to suit the thin r fat arm.

That is the END OF SOLOMON GRUNDY. BORN ON MONDAY…….:cheers

I rest my story n wait for your verdict. :hide:

Thank you all for your encouragement n most importantly your PATIENCE. :)

Hope there is enough space for the attachments n i didnt exceed my quotaDrowning. If you dont get any pics, then that means i had exceeded my quota. SORRY folks.
It is an anti-climax eh :confused2:
